Objectives

Under PWD Pension Scheme, there is a target to disburse pension to approximate 11, 41,400 PWDs from the provisioned amount of Rs. 685.02 Cr
Approximate 13,000 persons facing disability due to Leprosy; have been targeted to disburse the pension from the provisioned amount of Rs. 39.00 Cr.
The target is to benefit approximately 6400 disabled persons with a provision of Rs. 640.00 lakh for surgery to alleviate the disability of poor and helpless disabled persons.
Under Artificial Limb/Auxiliary Equipment grant scheme, there is a target to provide benefit to approximate 62300 PWDs from the provisioned amount of Rs. 37.40 Cr.
Target to provide benefits to 1131 couples from the provisioned amount 2.64 Cr under Marriage Incentive Scheme
An amount of Rs. 11.00 Cr has been provisioned to assist NGOs for operating Shelter Home – cum- Training Canter for mentally challenged and mentally sick helpless PWDs
A total provision of Rs. 29.75 crore has been made for the establishment of new integrated schools with the aim of establishing integrated special secondary schools at all divisional headquarters.
A provision of Rs. 20.00 lakh has been made to provide training to teachers for identifying children affected by dyslexia and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Syndrome (ADHD).
